Description: A solar-powered sea slug (Elysia viridis) feeding on light. These animals feed on algae and are able to retain their chloroplasts, thus gaining temporarily the ability to photosynthesize!! They literally became an hybrid organism between an animal and an algae, living from energy generated by the sun. When they need to receive light they adopt a leave shaped form like the one we see in the image.
